Small green matchbook. The matchbook is inscribed, "THE HOMER FITTS CO. / BARRE / VERMONT"in black on the front flap and "Dry Goods / Ladies' Apparel / Accessories" on the back and on the inside flap. There are red-headed matches inside, and a striking strip on the lower front flap.

Red matchbook with the inscription, "THE COUNTRY HOUSE RESTAURANT BARRE, VT." in gold across the front. The back is inscribed, "ITALIAN / AND / AMERICAN / DISHES Vic Guiduli / Prop." Printed on top fold is "Tel. 2160." There are red-headed matches inside, and a striking strip on the lower front flap.

Black matchbook. The front of the matchbook is inscribed, “The / Venetian / BARRE, VT.” in silver with dark green shading. A silver printed moon sits between the text, and green choppy waves adorn the bottom with a red and white canal pole leaning diagonally to the left. The front flap tucks into the match’s striker, which has a silver colored band and staple above the crease. The back of the exterior shows an empty restaurant and bar, with a solid green band that has white print saying, “PHONE 933W.” The interior does not have any matches and has no added color, except for green lettering saying, “Reserve Our DEN.”
